Ten years ago, in December of 2008, I graduated from KSU after having the time of my life, meeting lifelong friends, laughing my way through my 4 years at the happiest place on earth, while earning my degree in Apparel Marketing & Business. Now, my little sister is getting ready to walk those same steps, graduating from KSU with her teaching degree. To say I am proud is an understatement. Taking a walk down memory lane was so fun today. Congratulations, Hayley, pop that champagne girl! You have a bright future ahead. Also, in case anyone is wondering, college grad pics are a thing now so, call ya girl!

What a great weekend celebrating one of my best friends and momma-to-be @kaylajonavis at @loveofcharacter ! Kayla, you just radiate happiness! So happy to take these photos for you and honor you with a shower. Love you!!
When I was little, I gifted my Grandma a journal for Christmas. I remember buying this specifically for her because it had two cats on the cover and she loved cats. I was very little and had no money, I’m pretty sure I bought this from The Dollar Store. Over the years, my Grandma filled this journal with handwritten entries written to me about her life. She filled it with clippings of photos and other little quotes that meant something to her. She gifted this journal back to me one year and I have to say it is one of my greatest treasures. Now that she has been gone for 8 years or so, I feel that she is speaking to me from beyond the grave. Here is one of her clippings she pasted into her journal to me. I just thought it was an inspiring quote to share and puts everything in life into perspective.
