RuthAnn and Fawad met through RuthAnn's brother. He was actually one of her brother's best friends. When RuthAnn moved back home after college, she spent a lot of time with her brother and his friends. She was immediately attracted to Fawad and what a great dresser he is!
Here is a bit about their story and engagement from RuthAnn,
"Soon after we met we began to hang out and after a year we were best friends and I realized this guy was a real keeper: his consistency, his care, his determination... I really liked him and, come to find out, he really liked me too. So we started dating. A year and a half later, on a random Friday night in January he surprised me by taking me to one of the nicest restaurants at the plaza "just because." We enjoyed a delicious meal and he told me he wanted to take me to his house for dessert. When we arrived at his place he opened the door for me and my breath caught as I saw dozens of lit candles and rose petals on the stairs leading up to the main level and there at the top were candles and rose petals everywhere. A bouquet of red roses was on the table and Fawad, smiling, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was elated and said yes. Then we celebrated with the dessert of chocolate cake and I found out Brandon had been there just minutes before to light all the candles! Fawad, knowing I love surprises, gave me the best one ever. Our wedding date is October 24th, 2014 and we are so excited to continue to share life together as best friends."
RuthAnn is a photographer for the Mullikin Studio who are friends of ours, so it was really fun to meet up with her and Fawad for their engagement session! RuthAnn and Fawad are such a fun and happy couple. Their love for each other is so evident in these photographs. We met downtown to begin their engagement shoot and then headed over to the 12th Street Bridge in the West Bottoms. Here are some of my favorites.
The Mullikins will be photographing their beautiful wedding in October. Congratulations, RuthAnn and Fawad!
All The Best,
