Erin & Shawn were married on September 25, 2014 in a small, beautiful ceremony with a gorgeous reception following at Cellar 222. I absolutely loved the beauty and simplicity of this union of two families becoming one and was honored to get to document such a special moment for Erin and Shawn. Here are some of my favorite highlights from their wedding day.
A friend of Erin's designed this gorgeous bouquet for her.
Erin's sister, Sarah, designed the table setting which, I absolutely fell in love with the moment I set foot inside the venue. I couldn't stop myself from taking pictures of this setting. The color scheme mixed with the florals and patterns flowed together seamlessly. Just gorgeous!
The ceremony was held on the opposite side of the room in front of a beautiful fireplace, romantically lit with various sizes of candles on the mantle. Rose petals were scattered at the end of a navy blue and white striped aisle runner where the bride met her groom.
Erin's son walked her down the aisle and it was one of the most precious moments I have had the opportunity to capture.
After the ceremony, I was able to take the bride and groom outside for some photos just before sunset. I literally felt like I was chasing the light but the setting sun gave us some of the most beautiful, romantic lighting. I couldn't have asked for better timing to take these photos.
Shawn and Erin spent the next hour or so mingling with guests while enjoying cocktails and hor d'oeuvres.
Everyone sat down to enjoy a fabulous dinner catered by Scrape The Plate.

The Bride & Groom's first dance.
The Bride dancing with her son.
I thought it would be appropriate to end this blog post with the photograph below. This was taken at the end of the mother / son dance with the bride and her son. So very sweet.
