My husband and I first met best friends, AJ and Hudson three years ago when we started hanging out with the youth group at our church. They were just starting their Sophomore year of high school when we met them. Over the years, it has been so much fun watching these two navigate through high school, grow in their faith, and to witness their friendship strengthen. Now, we get to watch these guys go off to college as strong young men, with bright futures, ready to face the world!
I don't think either one of them particularly wanted their pictures taken but wanted to please their mothers, and since they are best friends, we decided to just go out all together. These guys love to hunt. So, what better place to have their senior pictures taken than out in their element? I have to say, this was a first for me, to photograph all things hunting…camo, guns, bows, and dead animals…but I am thrilled with how the session turned out. I think I captured their friendship pretty well. Here are a few favorites of mine.
AJ had just killed a turkey the day before so he brought it with him for some pictures.
AJ & Hudson - all the best to you guys as you finish your last days of high school. Nick and I feel so honored to have been even a small part of your lives over the last few years. You have so much to look forward to and I know you will do great in life! …oh and go K-State! :)
